Abundance: The Secret Power and Wealth That Lies Within You

Spirit, help me to see all the abundance in my life.

Abundance is a tricky word, in my opinion. According to the dictionary, abundance means “a very large quantity of something,” “plentifulness of the good things of life; prosperity.”

Did you catch that last word — “prosperity”? No, I’m not headed into a prosperity gospel. I don’t believe in that unless it refers to spiritual prosperity.

Here’s the thing with “abundance” and “prosperity” — most often, they are connected with affluence, lavishness, exuberance, opulence, luxury, wealth, success, and riches. By the way, those are all the synonyms attached to abundance and prosperity.

So, what’s the secret? The power and wealth of abundance and prosperity is something you carry within you always — love, grace, mercy, joy, and kindness. You were born with them, and you have the ability to give them away as freely as you want.

What’s that saying? Money doesn’t grow on trees.
