Teach me how to be grateful, Spirit, that I may not go through life starving for more joy.

We’re a nation hungry for more joy: Because we’re starving from a lack of gratitude. —Brené Brown

Have you been wondering how you can practice more gratitude? Have you noticed your soul being a bit parched, lacking joy, fatigued from overwork or underwork, or thinking the grass is greener on the other side (whatever that side is)?

Gratitude has the power and ability to do two things:

  1. Affirm the goodness in your life
  2. Point your soul to acknowledge where the goodness is coming from

It isn’t about a feeling. It isn’t about moral virtues. It’s about creating a daily gratitude practice because you know it will change you. And I promise you, it will change you.
