Becoming Whole in the Process of Being United

Spirit, guide us all in a spirit of unity.
You must be the change you wish to see in the world.

That quote has a deep meaning of unity. In other words, the world doesn’t change on its own. It takes a collective effort from everyone. To be an example of change (a change agent, if you will), you must change yourself first so that others will emulate the transformation they see in you.
Let me write that again for the people in the back: you must change first so that others will emulate the transformation they see in you.
And in that, there is unity.
When I think of unity, I think of solidarity. I think of team members who shave their heads to be in solidarity with another teammate undergoing cancer treatment. I think of people who stand with others in solidarity. I think of people who march and protest (peacefully) for unity.
