I admit, this is not about content creation as much as it is about allowing your soul to speak because your soul knows the words you need to share. Yana Bostongirl writes about this in a recent post:
There is something about sharing a piece of you into your writing that makes you more endearing. I admit I struggle with this when I am here in this space on Medium. I’m a short story, creative nonfiction, memoir writer who can put the ugly down with a hopeful ending, but not here. I struggle to help you feel the emotions. How about you? If I dare to say, there is a spiritual practice to writing. It is because it wakes up the still, small voice within — that voice that says, yes, write that onto the paper. Don’t be afraid of what others will think. Your soul needs to breathe.
I just read another post by Tonya S. Ware and highlighted these words, “After all, people will believe about you what you believe about yourself.” If your words embrace a spirit of empowerment, gratefulness, and brilliance, who’s going to lose? No one.
