Spirit, show me how to recognize fear in the many shapes and sizes it comes in.

Fear has a way of showing up at your door, inviting itself in, eating and drinking everything in your house, and squatting until you exorcise it from your home, heart, and soul.

One day a very large monster arrived in town. It marched slowly through the streets of people’s hearts, standing tall, blocking the Light. Its voice boomed and shattered souls as people cringed, crouched, and recoiled in fear.

The more the people cowered, the larger the monster grew.

Then, a little boy who decided to approach the monster. With every small step the little boy took, he grew more confident.

The closer he got to the monster, the smaller it appeared. The little boy came face-to-face with the monster, who was now about his size. The more the little boy sat…
