My friend Darcy Hansen graduates today with her doctorate degree. We met in the DMin program. When we met we were the only two women amongst a sea of men.

I was not able to finish the program, but our friendship has lasted, growing bit by bit throughout the three years. That’s what I find true about friendship—there is a seed that is planted when people meet, but it is watered with love, courage, kindness, and encouragement.
