Grateful for the Soul Maker who Created me with an Original Soul Print
Just as I am an original, so are you
Soul Maker, may my soul print be full of grace, mercy, love, and kindness that it will be a refreshment to others.
If you’ve read any of my older stories you know that though I was born in the US, I didn’t grow up in the US.
When I finally came to the US, I was 14, and it was post-Vietnam War. I imagine all the strife that Americans were dealing with, especially with American troops deployed to Vietnam, it was not easy for American families.
That doesn’t excuse you from being kind to others who might not trigger you. That trigger is your cross to bear.
That was my experience — becoming the verbal punching bag for people’s loss.
I quickly learned that people who extended kindness to me and didn’t treat me as “other” were leaving an imprint on my soul…
