Great thoughts! I’m sure you’ve touched on some things that everyone has wondered. My “concern” is that the top winner has only written two pieces. Was she only on Medium to win the prize and we’ll never see her again? But that might read like I’m a sore loser. I agree her writing is most likely beautiful but it begs the question … what were the real standards and guidelines for this writing contest?
