Get into a comfortable position.

Take a deep breath in as if you are smelling a rose.

Hold the breath for 4 counts before exhaling.

Exhale as if you are blowing out a candle, gently and slowly through your mouth.

Keep exhaling until your diaphragm becomes concave. Place your hand on your belly to feel the inward motion.

Repeat three more times.

if

the ocean
can calm itself
so can you.
we
are both.

salt water
mixed
with
air.

— Nayvirah Waheed

Close your eyes.

Imagine your happy place.

May your soul be refreshed.
