Word of the Day: Wonder

Noun: A feeling of surprise mingled with admiration, caused by something beautiful, unexpected, unfamiliar, or inexplicable.

Verb: desire to be curious to know something or feel doubt
(Merriam Webster)

I don’t know about you, but I’m more likely to live in the noun of wonder, to mingle with surprise, to dream big and wonder out loud. I guess that means that I’m making the noun an action, which makes it a verb, but it seems a lot more joyful to be caught by surprise because of something beautiful and unexpected.

To wonder means you’re pondering and allowing your senses to be awakened in imagination. As writers and artists, you have to live in a layer of imagination that allows you to swim in the ocean of grandeur so that you…
