I’ve been writing on Medium for 46 days. I’ve published 64 articles. I’ve become an Editor for not just my own publication, Herb+Fettle, but for Boomerangs as well. I’ve “met” some wonderful writers. I’ve learned some new tips and this side hustle is expanding.

As a writer, learning to leverage Medium so it works for you is key, right? Here are some tips to help:

1. Create content that you are passionate about (i.e. you are an expert or at least know a considerable knowledge about). In other words, I am a writer who happens to be passionate about utilizing herbs for my health journey of hypothyroidism and adrenal fatigue. I started a publication — Herb+Fettle — where I can write about my health journey and educate the public on what I’ve used, what works for me, and what doesn’t. Everyone is an individual and has to manage their own way, but it’s my way of saying you’re not alone in this.

I am also a biracial Korean female who has struggled with identity, loneliness…
