Pleasure, like a glass of wine after hard work, stops the world, preparing an individual to be more receptive to the subtle nuances of his environment, luring him into reverie and reflection. . . . Pleasure is time-out. — Thomas Moore

Let joy grab you,
Shake you to your core
Until you laugh without a care
Because joy is not quiet
Nor is it meek
Allow joy to have free reign in your soul.

What brings you great pleasure and joy?

Is it to jump in puddles or paint or sing in the fields or bake/cook or …?

What you prioritize and how you enjoy life says something about your values. Do you trudge through your days groaning and complaining or do you see every day as a bright new opportunity of hope on the horizon?

The concept of joy may seem like a faraway emotion, but even when you’re having bad days or bad seasons, there is Light in the darkness.
