Instead of Worrying About Tomorrow, Why Not Enjoy Today?
There is so much potential in today and this moment
Spirit, help me to live and enjoy today and leave tomorrow for tomorrow. Help me to let go of any worry and planning that does not allow me to be mindful for this day.
We all worry. You worry. I worry. Your neighbor worries. Some people worry more than they need to. In fact, they can worry themselves sick. You’ve heard the phrase “worried sick.” Is that you?
Do you worry too much?
Before you go any further, stop and take three deep breaths in. Inhale through your nose, allowing your diaphragm to inflate fully. If you like, put one hand on your heart and one hand on your belly. When you exhale, allow your diaphragm fully deflate so that it becomes concave. Feel that with the one hand you have on your belly.
