Round Up Week 7–13 November
Theme: Creativity
Writing Prompt
Of all the books you have read this year, which has been your favorite and why? What about this book inspires you to be more creative?
What kept you reading? If there are characters, who was your favorite? Give us some details about the book. Why did you choose it? Was it the topic, the author, the book cover, or …?
The idea behind this is to share with others. You never know what you might be reading and how that might pique the interest for someone else. That often happens with me. My friends and I share what we’re reading regularly because we know that it might interest each other.
What about you?
What are you reading? What have you read? What reading inspires you to write and be connected to your faith?
Pamela Oglesby wrote about a historical fiction book that won the prize of the Most Outstanding Florida Historical Novel — A Land Remembered by Patrik D. Smith that spans three generations of a family in Florida, which begins in 1858. It’s a rags-to-riches story, and because she lives in Florida, that’s what caught her interest.
