That's all it takes -- a smile and a nod.

When I was returning from work the other day and was at another metro station, the security woman there, whom I barely knew, just smiled and blinked her eyes. I uttered a kind thank you, and she nodded. That nod made me feel that she was in my corner, rooting for me.
