Show me how to breathe in Your Love and exhale the things that are not meant for me.

This will be a 10-part series on different examples of contemplative imagination or, as some refer to it, contemplative practices.

In Hinduism, raja yoga is known as one of the four paths of enlightenment, of which pranayama refers to controlled breath.

This ancient type of nasal breathing allows you the ability to control the duration, frequency, and timing of each breath. If you want to hold your breath after inhalation, feel free.

How to Practice Several Types of Pranayama

Get into a comfortable seated position, allowing your hands to rest on your thighs.

Close your eyes.

  1. Breathe slowly in through your nose. Exhale slowly through your nose. Focus your mind on the stillness, continuing to breathe slowly in and out through your nose. Keep your breaths slow and…
