The Ripple Effect of Your Small Acts

No matter whether they are acts of kindness, peace, or not-so-kind actions they have an impact on the world around you

Spirit, help me to always be an instrument of peace and kindness so that my ripple becomes a domino effect of more peace and kindness.

Have you ever thought about what ripple effect your small acts have on the world around you? Or … even the greater ripple effect your actions can have on the world at large?

Years ago, I took a hard look at my life and realized that perhaps the corporate world was ok without me. I went inward and realized that one of my gifts is that I’m a helper.

Trust me, I have had to set my own boundaries on this because you don’t always make money being a helper and sometimes it’s nice to keep the roof over your head and the lights on.

At the time, 9/11 just happened and my helping heart led me to the American Red Cross to give blood. As I was standing waiting to talk to the person behind the information desk, I listened to the woman in front of me asking about the instructor’s classes.

My interest was piqued.
