We all know when there are times we need to pause. When someone says something hurtful. Instead of pausing you lash back. Your child does something that upsets you and you yell at them. You did something harmful to another and instead of apologizing you retreat. The list is endless, right?

The more you feel the need for respect or are afraid of failure, the more that dark side of you raises its ugly head. What if … instead of reacting, you take a sacred pause. You step back and allow your head and heart to readjust. What if? When you step back and pause, you allow the sacred beauty and power of pause to guide you inward.

If you spend your days rushing around from one task to another, what would it look like to step into a sacred pause of contentment? Use the power and beauty of a pause to slow you down.
