Spirit, with each mindful step, show me the way.

Did you know that walking connects you to a deeper sense of yourself and your higher power? Yes, each slow, mindful step creates a new awareness of your breath, surroundings, heart, soul, and mind.

When mindfulness embraces our joy, our sadness, and all our other mental formations, sooner or later we will see their deep roots. With every mindful step and every mindful breath, we see the roots of our mental formations. Mindfulness shines its light upon them and helps them to transform. — Thich Nhat Hanh

So, what exactly is slow, mindful walking?

A mindful walking meditation practice allows you to slow down enough to be present for each moment, becoming aware of your body and how you feel. You can do mindful walking outdoors on your favorite path or walking a labyrinth.
