Spirit, help me trust the process that You have set aside for me as I spread Light in the world. And, if there is anything that I am doing that is bringing darkness, stop it now. For I want to be a complete Light spreader. So much so that the ripple effects of your Light through me will have everlasting change.

Do you ever wonder if what you say and do is really making a difference? Years ago, my partner taught me a rule of 2%. As you make slow, intentional changes, which add up to about 2% each time, over time there is change, but quantifying it on a daily or regular basis can cause you to question whether what you’re doing really matters.

So … you gotta’ trust the process. If you’re showing up and doing the thing that God has called you to, you will eventually see the larger change (the ripple effect).

I have been a witness to this over and over. First, as a volunteer at a women’s shelter in downtown LA. It took me four years to earn the trust of some of the women, but I kept showing up every month, doing my thing. I saw it again when I was a missionary. It took about the…
