Writing Prompt

This week magically has an eighth day. How will you spend it?

Will you languish in bed, go out for a long run, spend time with friends, plan a staycation, or …?

The theme of surprise can be invigorating to one’s soul, and yet, for some, it might feel daunting. Allow yourself to pause and think about the whys of who you are. If you don’t like surprises, why is that? If you do like surprises, why?

Years ago, I was given a wonderful surprise by a dear friend and his husband. They paid for an all-expense trip for me to join them and their friends in the South of France. I had never been to the South of France, and if you read my last week’s response to the writing prompt you know that travel is a part of my DNA.
