Doing a tag-along to Vidya Sury, Collecting Smiles inspiration this morning on motivation through the fear, which, in one word is hope.

I think hope is the answer in the end. We all need to hang on to that hope in order to see the fear through.

But before hope, you need to allow the fear to sit inside your soul, nudging, motivating, and bringing the emotions to the surface. I believe in this statement by Sam Keen,

“The ability to feel is indivisible. Repress awareness of any one feeling and all feelings are dulled. When we refuse to allow fear we correspondingly lose the ability to wonder. When we repress our grief we blunt our capacity to experience joy. The same nerve endings are required for weeping and dancing, fear and ecstasy.”

And though you might be confused about your fear, when you hit a particular emotion, allowing yourself to sit with the emotion, especially the gloomier ones (anger, fear, sadness, bitterness, anxiety, etc.), you can’t move through it until you sit with it.
