What Does Your Soul Need?

No matter how last year ended, there is a new year to build. If you imagine your soul is your house, what kind of a house do you want to build this year?

Honing your ears to tune in to the whispers of your inner soul can be done. Imagine your soul is someone you want to date or a celebrity you want to get to know. What would you do to make that happen? Are you committed to it or just interested?

My guess is you would do anything to change plans and jump through hoops if it meant something to you. And, doesn’t your soul, the essence of your being, mean that much to you?

The definition of soul, according to Merriam Webster:

“The spiritual or immaterial part of a human being or animal, regarded as immortal.” In other words, “a person’s moral or emotional nature or sense of identity.”

Reflection:

Close your eyes and imagine the most beautiful house. What does it look like?

Take ten minutes to write about the house in detail. What kind of roof does it have? What color is the front door? Is the front door made of a particular type of wood? Is it a small house or a large house? Is it a tiny house on…
