Spirit, help us all to learn from each other. Help us to understand, to stop and listen before speaking, and to offer grace and love more often than not.

I have not been shy to let people know that Refresh the Soul is about learning to refresh your soul. That means there is faith. Because you and I, we’re spiritual beings, so there is some spirituality kanoodling somewhere within you.

What Refresh the Soul is also about is being interfaith. We learn from each other. When you learn from someone who is different than you, don’t you learn something new?

And we are stronger together.

When I first began reading holy texts, it was Taoism. I was a young adult searching for meaning in my life. So I headed to my nearby bookstore and stood in the self-help aisle (where I practically lived) for the longest…
