We have all had moments when we have doubted ourselves. It’s cool. It happens. But, when others see you as a badass and tell you that you are amazing, what’s stopping you from owning that you are a badass? I mean, really.

You definitely want to thank them, but also know that hiding behind your greatness is like telling God that God made a mistake. I’m just saying.

In the book, You Are a Badass: How to Stop Doubting Your Greatness and Start Living an Awesome Life, Jen Sincero writes, “You need to go from wanting to change your life to deciding to change your life.” She defines the difference between wanting and deciding as:

Wanting can be done sitting on the couch with a bong in your hand and a travel magazine in your lap.

Deciding means jumping all the way, doing whatever it takes, and going after your dreams with the tenacity of a dateless cheerleader a week before prom night.
