It might be right in front of your nose

Oh, Holy One, give me eyes to see and ears to hear the opportunities that exist within the difficulties.

You know those moments and times when the road before you become difficult? Are you in one of those moments now?

Look in the crevices and see if there is an opportunity. Is that golden nugget buried like a crumb that gets nestled into your sofa fabric? Go ahead. Take a peek. Do you see it?

It might require you to take a step back. When I’m creating art, I often find I have to step away from the piece to see everything. Sometimes it requires taking a break for a few days.

It’s ok to leave it for a day or two or three.

In the middle of every difficulty lies an opportunity.
—Mateo Askaripour

Your fresh eyes and heart, when you return, are what is needed.

What is the invitation?

Are you being invited into a space of stillness? If you tend to be a person who runs around with a lot on your plate, is it time to take a pause?
