My high school was so large that they had to break it up into four sub-schools (Freshman, Sophomore, Junior, and Senior). Each sub-school had its own counselor and principal and they stayed with you during your entire journey of high school.

My counselor, Mr. Richardson, was the man who taught me about what a true open-door policy meant. He also taught me about love, grace, and mercy. I probably spent more collective hours in his office than in any class.
