Being important is cool and all, but how nice are you to people? Are you nice to the servers at the restaurants? Are you nice to the people who work under you? Are you a nice person?
Because, in the end, my guess is Kermit the Frog’s wisdom on whether it’s nice to be important or more important to be nice is greatly needed in this world.
Leading with kindness, compassion, and love will always get you further. Maybe it won’t seem that way in the beginning, but 10 years down the road, it will matter.
Life is a long game. You are born to make a difference in the world.
You choose how you want to make that difference. Do you want to plow through people with arrogance and being mean or do you want the aroma of your legacy to waft on years after you die?
