As always, use this weekly prompt to get your writing juices flowing or any week after.

Take a moment to close your eyes and visualize waves crashing against rocks. As you pay attention to your five senses, pay attention to how your body reacts. What do you see, hear, taste, feel (touch), and smell? Just sit with that for a few minutes.

Smell the salty air. Feel the spray against your face. Listen for the crashing against the rocks. Taste the saltiness of the air. Watch as the waves crash in an ebb-and-flow motion.

Is there a period in your life when you felt like the waves?

As you close your eyes, remembering back to that time, pay attention to how your body is responding as you move through the five senses.

How did you move through that season? What worked? What did you learn about yourself and others? Is there anything you would do differently?
