Years ago when I travelled more extensively than I do now, I used to get pulled over EVERY. DAMN. TIME. I couldn't figure it out. If I was travelling with someone I would get yanked out and they would go through. I am a biracial Korean female who travels with a backpack. My brother wondered if it was more about my backpack than me. Now that I'm older, I don't get pulled aside.

I hope it's not your hairstyle. I hope you remain hopeful, as do I. I hope you never have to endure a search ever again when you travel.
